Vangarde or Van-NOT? : Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway attended the Sneak "Beak" Screening of 20th Century Fox's "Rio" at 20th Century Fox studio's Zanuck Theater on January 28, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. She wore a youthful ensemble combining a cropped striped knit sweater with contrasting sleeves, cropped printed pants with cascading sides and a pair of brown leather and wooden heeled wedges.  There's a lot going on but it somehow works, even the cascades down her sides.  If I saw those pants on a rack would I have picked them up? Hmmmm.... most likely not.  Is her outfit Vangarde or Van-NOT?
