H&M PLUS SIZE COLLECTION

H&M is launching a plus size collection consisting of 20 pieces in UK sizes 32-54. Collection will be available online in March online.  Countries with access to the collection include Denmark, Holland, Austria, Finland, Norway, Germany, United Kingdom and Sweden.  The collection has a 50's flair; empire waists, cardigans and full skirts.  

Uncertain as to why the collection is being launched exclusively online.  It would be in the retailers favor to launch in store if they are looking to build this business.  Sales associates can interact with the new market and collect customer feedback.  A sales associate can easily relay any fit issues to headquarters; rather than relying on customers to post reviews.  If all goes well with this collection I'm positive H&M will launch a similar plus line in the United States.
