Fighting Temptation: I MISS MY BUN!!!

Almost a year since embarking on the natural hair journey for the umpteenth time.  I love my natural hair, however the reality of it is natural hair equates to high maintenance.  Although permed hair should be cared for, I was never a hair care junkie.  Hair care flunky was more like it.   Not sure where I got the notion natural hair would be less work.   I miss the ability to put my hair up in a frizz-less bun.  I mean look at my bun, that was one sultry bun.  At times I wake up with the urge to run to the salon, point to my hair and yell at the top of my lungs "perm this BIOTCH".  Haven't buckled down yet, we'll see how long before straying left.
