Rihanna releases a controversial video for her latest single "Man Down" off her latest LP, Loud. "Man Down" was filmed in Jamaica by Anthony Mandler. Overall I'm favorable of her latest video; it coincides perfectly with the caribbean vibe and lyrics of the song. Haven't seen a video that meshes so nicely with a songs lyrical content in a while. Video's like this are few and far between.

New Video: Beyonce- Run the World (Girls)

| Cover of upcoming album titled "4" out June 28, 2011 It's finally here. Beyonce video for Run the World (Girls) is out and it's good. I really expected her first single off her next album to be a bit more original (I'm talking about the beat). This is originally Pon de Floor by Major Lazer, which was also done by Dirty Money in Ass on the Floor earlier this year. I like the Dirty Money version because they switched the beat up a little and made it their own. While in this song she didn't change anything accept the lyrics. However, this video is hot I love the animals, the choreography, the outfits are great, and Beyonce looks completely different (I think it's the hair and the no heels effect). I can watch this video over and over again. Check it out. |

I am a huge Lady Gaga fan and I have to admit the very first time I heard this song I hated it. Not because it sounded similar to a past Madonna song,( who cares) it was the beat, it was drives me crazy with her voice. It sounded like she wasn't even singing ( Hello Lady Gaga, I so love you, but can we take it back to the days of The Fame and Fame Monster albums loved every single song on those albums). I will say this every time I hear this song on the radio I do sing the "Judaaaas, judas, judas (2X) Gaga"part. And I kind of dig this video I don't think I'll watch it again, but its cool. I adored this single off of Nicki's freshman album Pink Friday however, the video for "Super Bass" wasn't a thirst quencher. Uncertain why I'd have high expectations for a Nicki Minaj video, since none of her videos has yet to impress me. Am I her biggest fan? No, but I do enjoy listening to her songs as I get dressed in the morning. I also respect her hustle, everyones a "Barbie" now. White pumps she wore in the last scene are sick. I can definitely see myself rocking those bad boys.
Glow in the dark make-up in the end... Hated It!!!

I thought I've seen everything as far as music videos in my lifetime that I thought was dope, but now I just learned something new. Lady Gaga got those in your face outfits and looks, Beyonce got the legs and the moves, Kanye got the lyrics and the theatrical music videos that we can't understand till after the 3rd time of watching it over again, and then we have Martin Solveig( I'm not even going to pronounce that last name, not even in my head.) Never heard of him, same here, not until yesterday afternoon when I was listening to Z100 and heard this song play. I just had to download this song from Itunes it was a cute song and then it hit me I heard it before, it was in the Trident Vitaly commercial. Earlier today I googled his name and visited his site martinsolveig.com, I clicked on every short film video he had which were super funny and held my attention for wanting more. I thought I was watching a series on BBC America (love the show "Doctor Who", season premiere April 23, 2011, excited). Martin is a Parisian house music DJ and producer and is very big in Europe and is making his US debut. Can't wait to watch the third, fourth, and so on episode of Smash. Martin's latest album Smash will be released sometime this year. Check out the first episode "Hello", vocals from Canadian band Dragonette lead singer Martina Sorbara.

This song is definitely going to be a Summer hit and I can hear this song being played in all the clubs and parties this year. Can't wait to go partying so I can get crazy and get on the dance floor like the dancers in this video. This is my first time seeing or even hearing this song and I have to admit, I love it this will definitely be added to my Ipod. This song can be played in any club or party. The beat sounds like something David Guetta would do, but it was produced by Benny Benassi (club feel definitely in it). No matter what happens with Chris Brown I still love his music and I love to see him dance( hopefully he gets his temper in check, he is still young). Music video by Black Eyed Peas performing "Just Can't Get Enough" in Japan. Being the sucker for love that I am, I couldn't help to notice some mushy details. All the girls at 46-48 seconds were wearing heart shaped glasses. Shortly after circular lighting flares switch to heart lighting flares at 53 seconds, too cute. Song reminds me of Black Eyed Peas 2010 hit "Meet Me Half Way".

I'd like to introduce the talented Singer/Song Writer, Fader Lima. I had the pleasure of meeting Fader in 2008, later styling the beauty for a performance in 2009. We recently re-connected via social networking. Fader explains "Singing is always a joy; I don't think I could handle not being able to..." Her latest single "Emergency" is featured on Producer, Gaetan Policard's latest album "In Love With Music". Gaetan's website states album features a new sound of House Music. A collaboration of many different artist backgrounds makes this electronic genre very special. I can picture myself late nights in the meatpacking district dancing on tables to this one. House fans what's your take?
