Does Lloyd Banks Deserve You?

Lloyd Banks has released a video for 'I Don't Deserve You(ft Jeremih)' his 3rd single off his critically acclaimed Hunger For More 2. While the song tells the story of a man letting go of a love he's not prepared to handle, the video makes you feel the gripping REALITY of being the woman behind a powerful man. *Jay-Z voice* It ain't for everybody.

I'm a HUGE fan of Banks, but really disappointed in the publicity on his most recent project. I had the pleasure of attending the private listening held in the EMI office back in October. We got a preview of the album as well as a performance by Banks' that gave me great hope for the success of the album. Unfortunately, the promotion of this project in Lloyd's hometown of NYC was minimal, and release week the album debuted with disappointing sales. If there is one thing that is evident in the music industry is that it doesn't matter how good your work is if no one knows no one cares. It's not about talent it's about appearances, shows and over-publicized egos. If anyone should know that it's Lloyd's mentor 50 Cent, who personally funded this project.

I hope the video helps build the success of the album. Lloyd really kept it sexy for this one. It reminds me of 'Karma (ft Avant)' off his first album The Hunger for More, except Avant can, you know, sing... nice try though Jeremih.
