Nelle's Picks: Ann Taylor CFDA/Vogue 2010 Challenge

Of course majority of my favorite looks from the Ann Taylor CFDA/Vougue 2010 Fashion Fund Design Challenge don't fit the classic Ann Taylor aesthetic. I'm very surprised with Altuzarra's look.  Altuzarra's designs are usually sexy, edgy and far left of modern, nothing like any garment you'd find at Ann Taylor.  Designing a look perfectly fitting for the brands aesthetic shows his ability to understand and connect with customers.  Such mindset is the makings of a creative director.
