While watching Oprah today I realize that Roseanne, the guest for today, had on the cutest shoes. I had to rewind my DVR to catch the closeup, beacuse I wanted to make sure, I was right. They were the baby blue and red heart Melissa +Vivienne Westwood lady dragon sling back heels. I was right. These shoes are perfect for the next season, especially since that's the rainy season. Above are the shoes I've been wearing lately. I've had the gum bottom black sueded lace up boots for over three years now and I can't get enough. The platform clogs with fur lining come in so handy on the weekends when I want a relaxed but cute look. I wear my black suede lace up booties , camel and black/white lace up hard bottoms, black studded pointy toe shoes and black suede wedge boots to the office every week. I wear the brown lace up boots on lazy days as I can slip them on and off very easily. I knotted the ends of the laces so they are always in the right place. The rotation will be completely different come January if it gets too cold.

I'm always on the look out for new shoe designers however Charlotte Olympia has seemed to slip under my radar. I love the Charlotte Olympia aesthetic, it's just my liking. The collections usually feature a lot of chunky heels, platform fronts, leopard print and wedges. Perfect for a chunky heel and wedge loving chick like moi. Charlotte Olympia is designed by Charlotte Dellal. The company is based in London and has been around since 2007. Charlotte Olympia fans include Sarah jessica Parker, Olivia Palermo, Blake Lively, Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow just to name a few. Rain Rain Go Away, Evolution of The Jelly

I don't know about you but I absolutely despise walking around in damp shoes. I needed to run a few errands and we have been experiencing heavy down pours in NYC today. I own a pair of rain boots however it's July; I'm not a fan of sweaty feet and rain boots cramp my style. Skin dries off rather quickly so getting my feet wet is not an issue. Unfortunately my shoes don't dry up as quickly, especially in times of heavy rain fall. During my days of being a buying intern within a shoe department, a sales rep came in one day to present a line of shoes made out of plastic.
