Men's Fall 2010 TREND: Toggle Coats

Does this trend ever get old?. . .Never, it's Forever.

The toggle coat is a staple in menswear that's not going anywhere no time soon. It's a timeless classic. Toggle coats are easy to fasten and usually have a large hood, quilted lining and made out of wool. Toggle coats are for casual looks they do not go well with formal attire. Pair this coat with a pair of jeans or dark khaki's this fall.

If your toggle coat is a light color like brown, beige or tan pair them with a pair of dark denim jeans. Navy or dark colored toggle coats look great with a lighter pair of denim. You can add some flair to this classic look by purchasing a plaid toggle like the French Connection Toggle pictured on the left. Ralph Lauren usually releases a toggle coat every fall. If you can't afford the designer prices, affordable styles are available.

Sean "Diddy" Combs was very much on trend this week wearing a motorcycle jacket and cap toe lace up boots. Motorcycle jackets were popular item on the Fall 2010 runways. You don't have to be a rock star or biker boy to pull off this trend. If you're afraid of looking like the late great King of Pop purchase a loose fitting motorcycle jacket with rust colored zippers. If the fit of a jacket is snug simply go up one size. Below are my picks of where you can get the look right now.

The Stussy XXX wallabee features a crepe sole, two tone upper consisting of ballistic nylon and premium leather giving it an industrial look. The Stussy XXX logo is branded on the boots heel and two holes added on the medial for ventilation and breathability. These boots are expected to be released at selected Stussy retailers in August...
