Nicole Richie: A Celebrity Designer Who Actually Wears Her Own Brand

Not a huge fan of Nichole Richie's clothing line Winter Kate, simply because it's just not my cup of tea.  However, it's great to know she's a huge fan of her own clothing line.  Many celebrities with brand power create clothing lines.  They are in their own advertisements, they promote it yet they barely wear their own clothing.  Why do you expect me to support your line if you don't even support it?  Well Nicole wears her pieces all the time, makes me want to see if there might be something I'm interested in this season.  If you like Nichole's Boho Chic style you can find Winter Kate at Nordstrom.com and  Boutiquetoyou.com and Singer22.com.  You can also check out nicolerichiefashion.blogspot.com for updates.

 

Celebrity Style: Kim Kardashian WOWS and Nicole Richie FLOPS

Kim Kardashian wows in a double strap one shoulder form fitted floor length fire engine red gown at the LACMA Resnick Pavilion Opening Gala, September 25, 2010.  The natural make-up, classic up do and lack of accessories was the right move as the dress spoke for itself.  Wish Kim would've gave Nicole some less is more advice.  Nicole totally flopped at this event wearing a couture one shoulder bustier top layered puff bottom grey and black gown.  The gown looked like an unfinished project and overpowered her small frame.  Maybe if it was Lady Gaga I'd be all for it, but then again this outfit is way to safe for the fame monster.
