Willow is too cute; poised and full of personality.  She isn't a little girl but a little lady.  When I look at her I see equal amounts of Jada and Will.  Little boys clothing are just men's clothing miniaturized,  so why not ditch the frilly dresses and socks most little girls are expected to wear.  She wore a navy jacket with gold chain embellishments, striped high waist wide leg pants, large wool scarf, white tank and stained floppy studded work boots.  I'm just hoping she stays focused and on the right track since fame at an early age has proved to be damaging for many other child stars.  Her first video was awesome; the coreography, theme and styling was age appropriate.

Stuntin' Like My Mommy...Jada and Willow Smith

Jada and Daughter Willow show off their style during Milan Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Week.  I like both looks however, Jada  reminds me of a hunter and willow the prey.  Jada is on trend wearing a perforated cape, leather shorts, olive hat, top and bottom.  The look is slightly monochromatic which was a major direction on the Fall runways.  Willow also styling in her signature haircut, Christian Louboutin studded sneakers, yellow cross body bag, matching animal print vest and long sleeve top and tie die skinny jeans.  I really don't see the huge issue with her style of dress, she is never over exposed.  It's not like she chooses to wear miniskirts, see through blouses and pumps.  As a child my Ms. Paul allowed me to dress myself (which explains all my questionable/embarrassing outfits).  I turned out alright, So I think...The only difference between Willow and most children is she gets to play dress up in front of the world.  Oh yeah, she also gets to play dress up with designer clothing instead of having to go into her parents closet full of outdated clothing.  I see children in questionable outfits everyday, it's just what they do.

New Music: Willow Smith "Whip My Hair"

Willow Smith's new single "Whip My Hair" is pretty catchy and cute. Everyone should be well aware Will and Jada have been preparing their kids for the lime light.  It's a family business and every member has to pull their weight.  Will stated during a family interview on Oprah "mommy and daddy are rich ya'll are borke...we don't allow them to just sit around, we talk about the concept of the group and the neccessity of adding to the family..."

Her older brother Jaden shined earlier this year with the Karate Kid re-make.  Now it's Willows turn to make her mark.  Since there has been so much controversy about her hair cut; Im guessing the Smith clan felt it was only right to record a song pertaining to hair.  Although critiques say she dresses to grown for her age her body is never over exposed so I see no reason for people to have any issues with her style.  She is playing dress up in front of the world instead of behind closed doors.  Willow is only 9 years old and already fighting off haters twice her size.
