Brooklyn Boulders

It’s amazing what you can do with an 18,000 sq-ft space in Brooklyn, NY. I was recently passing by 3rd ave and Degraw St . with a friend of mine and she pointed out a building that looked like a warehouse. I was totally taken back when we entered the building. It happened to be gym, a rock-climbing gym to be exact and it was the biggest one in the city. We started to ask the workers inside why were there so many sections inside they stated that they had different levels.

One section in particular looked like u can climb upside down. Now I’m not exactly what you would call an outdoors type of girl, but I love trying anything new and different especially when it’s a new workout.

They just added yoga and skateboarding at the gym. I will definitely be checking out this gym in the next upcoming weeks and when I do expect an updated post.

This colorful oasis also has classes, and accepts groups as well. Prices are very affordable they are off peak hours, which are Mon-Fri 12-4pm and Sun-Tue after 9pm-11pm $15 including gear. Any other day and time it is $20 including gear. And if you are interested in the top rope climbing you have to sign-up for a learning class, which is $60, it’s not bad because it comes with the gear and an extra day pass.
