Corporate Mondays

Monday's are meeting days at work. This will be my first Monday attending the merchandise meeting so I opted for a neutral color. You know tone it down a bit. The fire engine red I wanted to apply this weekend can wait till Wednesday. The color I used was Brucci Nail Hardener # 412 Christopher Street. I wonder why such a bland color was named Christopher Street, maybe it's not the fun exciting Christopher Street I hang out on in NYC during the summer.*shoulder shrug* I need my cuticles maintained next weekend.

Saturday's and Sunday's is usually my pamper and relax days. I got bored with the confetti nails so I switched my polish to Sinful Colors Dream On #08. I added a black free hand design with my black nail art polish. I'm happy with the outcome. You don't need tips or long nails to achieve fun nails.
Fall 2010 Trend Report: Nails

1. Texured- I haven't tried it yet or found anywhere to get something like this done but as soon as I do you'll be the first to know.
2. Classic Red- What more can I say red nails will always be hot and sexy until the end of time.
3 & 4. Metallic and Half Moon Manicure - these two trends emerged during Spring 2010 and have managed to stay well and alive to make a cross over into fall.
In regards to shape I've always been a square type of gal however as of late the round nails have become appealing. One thing I'll never be into (let me knock on wood) is long nails, I like 'em short and sweet.

What a coincidence Vangarde Girl Mo posted about Minx nails today, I learned about it today. I haven't been living under a rock as you can see Im up to date with all the fashion trends but I do hide in my turtle shell for long periods of time. Today I decided I was going to treat myself to something, so I got my nails done after seeing my co-workers funky nail design. The design I chose had everyone glancing over at the nail salon. Later on a girl walked up to me and asked are those Minx nails, Im like Minx who? Then she give me the run down. I'm definitely not paying $50 something dollars to get my nails done but the $20 I paid was well worth it. I will be going back to the salon by my job to try new styles every two weeks cause I'm so in love. MY NAILS GOT A NEW ATTITUDE!!! I'm feeling like a wild thang.
