Rachel Roy and Jessica Stam Collaboration

Jessica Stam not only will she be able to add model to her resume, she will also be able to add designer. Jessica Stam and fashion designer Rachel Roy has teamed up to design a capsule collection for the designer’s Rachel Rachel Roy label.The collection will be available at Macys in October. To promote the collection the duo took it to the social media network via Twitter and Facebook. Some items are also featured in an 8 page editorial in Marie Claire's September issue modeled by none other than Jessica.

Madonna For Macy's: Material Girl Collection Preview

Madonna's Material Girl Collection will debut at Macy's Herald Square on August 3, 2010. The collection includes apparel, handbags, jewelry, footwear and hair accessories.  The collection blends modern day trends with the nostalgic flair of the 1980's.   There is something about the 80's, the fashion world refuses to leave it behind.  Based on the previews major trends in the collection are plaid, leather, silver jewelry, sequence, crop tops and studded details from apparel to jewelry.  The line is very affordable with jewelry at $12.00, $18.00 crop tops and $32.00 band jackets.   If you have any experience trying to attain pieces from Target and H&M designer collections then I probably don't need to tell you time is of the essence.   With collections of this nature, it's you snooze you loose.
