LANVIN for H & M This November

BY VANGARDE GIRL NELLE, SEPTEMBER 2, 2010
So the rumors were true. Lanvin has decided to partner with H & M for an exclusive collection launching this fall.  Lanvin is one of the oldest fashion houses in Paris.  It's current creative director is mastermind Alber Elbaz.  A film previewing the collection will be launched on November 2, 2010.  The collection will be available in 200 H & M stores worldwide on November 23, 2010.

Lanvin’s creative director Alber Elbaz said “I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection,” “but what intrigued me was the idea of H & M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public.” Mr. Elbaz, a popular figure in the fashion world, went on to say that the collaboration with H & M has been “exceptional.”

Although Mr. Elbaz may like to think its H & M going luxury the quality and price tag on the garments can easily make or break that statement.  I am anxious to know the collections price points.  If the items priced to low it will surely be Lanvin goes public.  I am a huge fan of the Lanvin label.  I'm certain I'll be at H & M bright and early to get my hands on a few pieces from the collection.
