Wishing on a Star: Lanvin Handbags for H & M

BY VANGARDEGIRL NELLE, SEPTEMBER 3, 2010

I would love to see a few Lanvin handbags in the new collection from H & M.  I've been dying to get one but can't see myself splurging at the moment since I'm trying to save and get a business off the ground.  Sacrifices, Sacrifices *sigh*.... Lanvin bags are extremely lady like, it's like a Chanel bag but for the non conventional woman.  Since kitten heels are making a comeback maybe he can also add one of his signature looks. I'm crossing my fingers and patiently waiting for the video to drop on November 2, 2010.

Videos: Lanvin for H&M Confirmed

BY VANGARDE GIRL NELLE, SEPTEMBER 2, 2010
I'm guessing H & M was just as anxious to release the designer collaborations for this fall as much as the public wanted to know.  Release date for H & M designer collaborations were set for September 9, 2010.  It's only the second and a H & M 28 second film confirming Lanvin has been released.  the collcetion will be designed by Lanvin Creative Director Alber Elbaz and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver.
“We are thrilled about Lanvin’s collection for H&M, it is such an exciting moment. Lanvin will bring to H&M a luxurious French tradition that is also modern and playful. It is very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men. The launch in November is going to be full of wonderful surprises.” Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.

LANVIN for H & M This November

BY VANGARDE GIRL NELLE, SEPTEMBER 2, 2010
So the rumors were true. Lanvin has decided to partner with H & M for an exclusive collection launching this fall.  Lanvin is one of the oldest fashion houses in Paris.  It's current creative director is mastermind Alber Elbaz.  A film previewing the collection will be launched on November 2, 2010.  The collection will be available in 200 H & M stores worldwide on November 23, 2010.

Lanvin’s creative director Alber Elbaz said “I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection,” “but what intrigued me was the idea of H & M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public.” Mr. Elbaz, a popular figure in the fashion world, went on to say that the collaboration with H & M has been “exceptional.”

Although Mr. Elbaz may like to think its H & M going luxury the quality and price tag on the garments can easily make or break that statement.  I am anxious to know the collections price points.  If the items priced to low it will surely be Lanvin goes public.  I am a huge fan of the Lanvin label.  I'm certain I'll be at H & M bright and early to get my hands on a few pieces from the collection.

H&M AW 2010 Video Look Book-Furture

BY VANGARDE GIRL NELLE, AUGUST 31, 2010
I'm predicting Carolina Herrera as H&M's new designer.  The side profile of the woman and the short blonde hair reminds me of Carolina Herrera.  I took a snap shot of the woman's side profile in the video and placed it next to a picture of Carolina Herrera and it seems as I may of hit the nail on the head.  We'll see if Im right on September 9th...
