Celebrity Style: Emma All Grown Up

Emma Watson looked amazing in her Rafael Lopez for Atelier Mayer lace opened back feathered bottom mini dress at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in London.  Although this number is very revealing Emma's look was far from trashy.   This dress could've easily gone wrong on another celebrity.   In order to pull off dresses like the one above the woman in the dress must be able to carry it gracefully, meaning she can't have too much of anything no large size breasts, butt or thighs.  The shoe choice of the evening was an all black Charlotte Olympia pumps.  The former child star is all grown up, watch out now.

Rosie IN...Emma OUT

After only a year as the face of Burberry Emma Watson's contract will not be renewed.  Her replacement will be model/actress Rosie Huntington-Whitely.  According to several articles Burberry had a 24% sales increase during Emma's advertising campaigns.   In an interview with Britain's the Sun, a source close to the firm stated " Emma was a huge success, everyone expected her to be used again."  I find it strange to drop the face of your campaign that boosts sales.  Aren't sales figures how you tell if your advertisements are successful?  Im wondering if it had anything to do with Watson's recent pixie cut...hmmm

The new face of Burberry, Rosie Huntington-Whitely has modeled for Victoria Secret, Oscar De La Renta, Vera Wang and has graced the cover of UK Vogue.  While searching for pics of Rosie I stumbled upon this pic of her at a re-grand opening of Burberry in 2008.  Maybe she has a solid history with the brand?

Emma Watson: I Am Not My Hair

Emma Watson, Harry Potter star is all grown up...She went from long tresses to a short pixie-cut. India Arie said it best I am not my hair, a lot of women say they would die if they ever cut their hair really???  I think there is something so empowering about a woman with short hair.  Halle Berry rocked the a pixie cut for years and look at how successful her career has been.  As my younger brother once told me, you know a woman is truly beautiful when she can can cut all her hair off and not lose one once of her beauty.
